Jacqueline is Emily's French teacher. She teaches level 1 (niveau 1) of a French immersion course.

Biography

Jacqueline is Emily's French teacher. She taught Emily's class the verb "aimer", which means "to like" and how to say "J'aime...", which means "I like...". After class, Emily asks her for advice about how to get her French colleagues to like her. Jacqueline is surprised to hear that Emily works in an office full of French people. Emily invites Jacqueline to go out and have a drink with her. Jacqueline agrees, but explains that her rate outside of class is at €50 per hour, so Emily quickly retracts her suggestion.

In a later class, Jacqueline has her students read a dialogue about inviting people to Jean-Jacques' party.

Personality

Jacqueline is a practical person. She treats her relationship with her students, namely Emily, strictly as a business relationship, and expects to be paid to hang out with her.
