The Gilbert Group is a marketing firm based in Chicago, that represents a plethora of companies from pharmaceuticals to their recent acquisition of luxury companies.

History[]

The company has a large clientele in America and they represent a number of brands from pharmaceuticals to geriatric care facilities. During their time representing Merck, their sales for a diabetes drug went up 65%. Around the same time, they marketed a vaccine to help combat the chikungunya virus and saturated the web with such gorgeous content they were responsible for increasing tourism in the Virgin Islands by thirty percent. They optimized search results to ensure that if a user searched for certain keywords, the user would be directed to their product.

Gilbert Group soon decided to expand their international portfolio with the acquisition of a French luxury company Savoir. Part of the deal was that the Gilbert Group would send one of their marketing executives to assist in the transition. Their first pick was Madeline Wheeler, who was unable to follow through on her relocation, so Gilbert Group sent Emily Cooper in her place. Part of Emily's relocation deal was the position as Senior Brand Manager upon her return to Chicago.
