Trivia[]

  • Each episode of the season features a different title card placement.
  • Ashley Park (Mindy Chen) improvised the line, "I'd bon appetit him" and the crew decided to keep the scene. She did this in only one of the takes, so the reaction from Lily Collins (Emily Cooper) is genuine.[1]
  • Emily in Paris was number one on Billboard’s Top TV Songs chart, powered by Tunefind, for October 2020. Edith Piaf’s “Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien”, which played in the series, debuted at number one for the month.[2]
  • Patricia Field served as the costume designer for the season. She previously designed the outfits for Sex and the City.[3]
    • Patricia states that when Emily wears the tulle skirt at her first big work party, it's paying homage to Carrie’s tulle skirt in the series finale of Sex and the City. Emily's 'Emily' earrings are also a nod to Bradshaw’s famous 'Carrie' necklace.[3]
  • The season was shot entirely in Paris, France.
