Catherine Lambert is the ex-wife of Antoine Lambert and maintains a positive social appearance at events.
Biography[]
Catherine married Antoine Lambert at a young age and her family invested in his fragrance company, Maison Lavaux. It quickly became one of the most successful perfumes in France. He became a client at Savoir and she befriends Sylvie Grateau, who was having an affair with Antoine. It can be presumed that Catherine was aware of the affair and approved of her husband's choice, as she seemingly gave this same approval to Emily.
Season 1[]
Catherine is always seen on her husband Antoine's arm at events or parties, keeping a bright and happy exterior. Mindy Chen theorizes that Catherine is aware of her husband's affair with Sylvie and approves, but they probably don't discuss it as it is more tolerated than anything else. Catherine learns of Antoine's plans to take someone to Saint Bart's and mistakes this as a trip for her and Antoine. She announces her knowledge and plans to join Antoine at the Fourtier launch party, seemingly unaware that the trip was meant for Antoine and Sylvie.
When Catherine arrives at Les Deux Compères with Antoine, she speaks to Emily in private about the American taking over the Maison Lavaux case. Catherine admits that she thinks Emily is a better fit for her husband, with Emily correcting that she is a good professional fit. Catherine makes it known that she approves, insinuating that she approves of Emily being Antoine's new mistress.
