Antoine's perfume company is slated to release a new scent, De L'Heure, and is working with Savoir for their marketing. He is introduced to Savoir's new employee Emily Cooper and finds her ideas and interesting. His advances are evident from the start but she dismisses them as he's married and a client. Antoine invites Savoir to watch his new commercial shoot and is charmed by Emily, who voices her beliefs that the commercial is sexist. Antoine halts production for the day to converse the topic with Emily, Sylvie, and Julien. He claims that it is the woman's fantasy to be desired by men as she walks naked across a bridge, which Emily doesn't agree with but no one else seems to be on her side. When Emily's social media idea to ask the audience if the commercial is sexy or sexist is a success, Antoine gifts Emily lingerie from La Perla. Julien warns her that La Perla is Antoine's go-to place for lingerie, and he gifts the same products to Sylvie Grateau - who is his mistress.

Sylvie suspects the flirtation from Antoine, and their relationship grows strained as she feels underappreciated by the man and as though he doesn't care for her. Antoine threatens to leave Savoir, which poses an issue as his company is one of Savoir's biggest clients. Emily whips up an idea for Maison Lavaux to join forces with Randy Zimmer Hotels to create a signature scent. She passes it off as Sylvie's idea to help smooth things over them. The deal is a success and the Savoir group, paired with Randy Zimmer and Antoine, go to Les Deux Compères to celebrate. This includes avoiding him at work, rejecting his gifts, and reassigning the Maison Lavaux account to Luc, who passes it to Emily. Season 4[]

Antoine closes a partnership between Maison Lavaux and Baccarat for a new scent he hopes Sylvie can successfully sell to consumers. He needs the launch to go well because Catherine is divorcing him, which means he's losing her family's large investment in Maison Lavaux. He calls the scent "Crystal Heart", a name she hates, but he threatens to hire a different firm if she can't sell it as-is. After hearing about Alfie's relationship woes, Antoine changes the name to "Heartbreak".

Personality[]

Antoine is flirtatious, seductive, and has a way with words that allows him to win over any potential client or adversary. Almost everything he says can be interpreted with a double meaning, one of a sexual means or a professional one. He values his company but is prideful, believing that his business will succeed anywhere with or without Savoir. His status as one of the companies largest clients grants him leverage over Sylvie, in the means that he threatens to leave Savoir when they argue. He also has some outdated views on how to market his products, which is why he finds Emily's American point of view so interesting.

Relationships[]

Emily Cooper[]

Antoine and Emily often have disagreements about marketing campaigns, but he is more open to Emily’s ideas than her coworkers. He once sent her lingerie as a gift, which Emily did not appreciate. She managed to keep his flirtations at bay by pretending she is in a relationship with Gabriel. She also doesn't respect that he has a wife and a mistress, thinking that both women deserve more.

Sylvie Grateau[]

Sylvie and Antoine met over a decade ago when they were both young businesspeople hoping to succeed. Antoine was recently signed to Savoir as a client, with Sylvie working on his account. He pursued her aggressively despite being married and they struck up an affair that would last for years. She served as his mistress until she felt underappreciated and grew tired of the secrecy and broken promises.

Catherine Lambert[]

Catherine and Antoine are married and appear to have a healthy and positive marriage. However, Antoine had an ongoing affair with Sylvie Grateau that only ceased when Catherine learned of their plans to travel and used them for herself and Antoine.

Gabriel[]

Antoine helped Gabriel buy his own restaurant in Cancel Couture.
